Bail mixes Urban Kultur Podcast #24

Art: Dscreet / Photo Credit: Steven Blyth

Following on from his techno heavy mix for Hypnotic Groove earlier last month (stream that here) Bail steps up once more for Edinburgh based arts and music blog Urban Kultur with a degraded, grungy mix showcasing everything from Italo electro to industrial techno, with a large dose of acid house chucked in there for good measure.

Run by keen photographer and underground culture aficionado Steven Blyth, Urban Kultur has since 2011 been busy expanding from a home for the latest in the world of street art (visit the site here) ‘to include updates on all forms of art, photography and underground dance music, with the launch of the UKB Guest Mix podcast series in early 2012’ – which is where our resident deejay Bail comes in.

The mix is a much slower affair than previous mixes and includes records from Modern Love favourite and one half of Demdike StareMiles, coldwave creeps Broken English Club, past BoR guest and Ruff Draft boss Cottam, Liverpool based mangled technoist John Heckle and Swedish heavy hitters Fishermen amongst a lot more. You can stream it below.
